Dr. Carlisle Cullen was the first member of the Cullen coven and the loving dad and husband for the family. He was transformed into a vampire over 400years ago and found out by himself that he has to kill human beings to survive, but through a coinsidence he saw that he can live with the blood of animals. Because of his longtime experiences he can stand human blood and nowadays he works as a doctor in hospitals.

Damon Salvatore is the brother of Stefan Salvatore and was turned into a vampire by Katherine, who played with the brothers. Today Damon is selfish and tries to turn Stefan into a real vampire since he is a 'vegeterian'.

Alice Cullen was transformed into a vampire by another one and he left her all alone. She has visions and can see what happens in the future and because of that she saw Jasper, who looked for her. After they found each other Alice had a vision about the Cullens and so they joined them. Since then Alice is the wife of Jasper, the sister of Edward and the others and the daughter of Carlisle and Esme. She is always happy, loves to shop and drive fast cars.
